The Seventh-day Adventist philosophy of education is based upon the belief that God is the Creator - that He made man in His own image, perfect in every way, with great intellectual powers,  a child of God.

FAS believes that God has ordained a plan of education for His people, an education that is Christ-centered.  FAS accepted the Biblical principle, "Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it."  Proverbs 22:6.
