Boys 7^th -8^th /U-14  Coaches Donny Smith, David VandeVere , & Eric Wasli

• Participants must be under age 14 before 9/1/09.
• Tryouts required October 17 & 29; must sign Athletics’ Expectations form.
• Advanced Ball Handling/Shooting/Passing/Team Offense and Defense
• Boys must wear basketball shoes, shorts and t-shirt.
• Ideally each child should have their own basketball size 29.5 inches.
• Practices 1.5 hours for 2 weekdays (Tu/Th) after school and Sunday mornings, beginning November 1.
• Games on weekdays after school, Saturday nights and/or Sundays beginning first weekend in December thru mid-March with guaranteed playing time every game.
• 16+ regular season games with year-end HVA and/or MYBA tournament with additional 1-3 games. HVA tournament hosted by Rocky Knoll Adventist School is scheduled for Sunday, March 21.
• Participate in the U-14 Boys Monocacy Youth Basketball Association League  (MYBA is an instruction recreation program for youth ages 8 to 19 and is part of Frederick County’s Recreation Council, Parks & Recreation) and Chespeake Conference Youth Athletic Association (local Adventist schools)
• Fee:  $50/child  Fee includes t-shirt, equipment use and referees.
  
• Requires team members to support fundraising efforts and concessions for middle school basketball teams.
